■ Creative Concept：

This work was created for the themed competition Divine Beasts, Demons, and Yokai. E chose the Buddhist guardian deity Garuda, also known as the Golden-Winged Bird, as the central subject. The concept traces back to Buddhist scriptures and their accounts of sacred beasts, while drawing visual inspiration from Tibetan Buddhist Garuda statues and thangka art. The creative foundation focuses on the destined conflict between Garuda and the Nāga dragon race, attempting to reinterpret the religious imagery found in the scriptures through sculpture. Through its physical form, the work seeks to preserve the original spiritual power of Garuda as a guardian deity, along with the depth of its mythological narrative.
