2018《 Jizō Monk Parrot 》

■ Creative Concept：

This work originated from a piece of discarded material that had accidentally hardened during a material test. Guided by a sense of respect for the material, E followed its natural form and improvised with it. In the process, E discovered that its silhouette unexpectedly resembled the halo-like backlight often seen behind Japanese Jizō Bodhisattva statues.Taking this as inspiration, E blended that visual impression with the imagery of the monk parakeet, eventually completing this early yet highly symbolic finished creation.
